Brand Ambassador Program FAQ
What are the rules of the Brand Ambassador Program?
1. You must be 18 or older (and ideally a mom or baby style enthusiast) to be a Masilo Ambassador.
2. You must have a public Instagram account with minimum 1,000 followers.
3. Please don’t comment with your Ambassador code on any Masilo social media posts or channels (i.e. Instagram, Facebook, etc.), even if you see another Ambassador doing it.
4. Similarly, don’t post your Ambassador code to any posts from Masilo’s online or offline partners who carry our products.
5. Do not sell Masilo items at events of any kind (eg. farmer's markets, etc.). We have our events team handling all pop up shops.
6. Remember that the purpose of Masilo Ambassadors is to bring new customers to the brand!
Can my Ambassador code be used with other discount codes?
Since our website only accepts one coupon code at a time, your Ambassador code cannot be combined with any other discount code at checkout.
What if I forget/couldn't apply an Ambassador code to an order?
If you forgot to apply an Ambassador code to an order or for some reason our system wouldn't allow you to apply it, we can help you!
In order for us to take care of this for you, please email firstname.lastname@example.org within 48hrs of the purchase. This is REQUIRED due to payment timeframes, anytime after that will not be accepted. We will need the order number, the Ambassador code, and the Ambassador’s email address. This way we can make sure the order gets discounted the 15% and the Ambassador gets their commission/credit for the sale!
We will NOT process the credit for the Ambassador if:
- We receive an email more than 48hrs past the order time.
- There is already another discount applied to the order (even if it is less than 15%).
- If the order is less than INR 2,000
What are the Brand Ambassador emails and when do I receive them?
We periodically send out emails to keep you updated and informed. We also want to make sure you get some killer content! You’ll receive an email from the Ambassador program for these circumstances:
1. When you get accepted into the program! Make sure you hang onto this one for future reference :)
2. Our monthly ambassador email! This will include photos to share, important info and any updates! Please note: this changes and will not always be the case, it mostly depends on launches and info we have to share with you. So if you don't get an email every month, don't worry!
3. Our monthly conversions email. This will include a screenshot of your Ambassador code’s performance so you can track all referral sales made.
How do I get paid for my sales?
Ambassadors are paid, 2 months after the month of sale to keep a 30-day buffer period in case of returns. For example, for January sales, you will receive a screenshot of all sales in the first week of February, but the payments would go out in the first week of March. You’ll receive an email every month along with the final sales report, and commissions will go out right after!
*Once you are accepted into the program, we will request for your bank details for making online transfers.
What if I don’t want to be a Masilo Ambassador anymore?
If you no longer want to be an Ambassador, we totally understand! Sometimes it just doesn't work for you. Just shoot us an email at email@example.com and let us know and we can cancel your Ambassador account for you. We will certainly miss you of course!
Do I need to meet a certain sales quota or amount?
Nope! The Masilo Brand Ambassador Program is totally what you make of it. Of course, Ambassadors who spend more time hustling for sales tend to get the highest commissions. But we understand how crazy busy life can get, so if there’s a period of time where you’re inactive, we completely understand!
